Another PT Job

I got a call from a friend of a friend of mine about potentially working for her a few hours a week. Her family owns a Home Health Care company and was looking for a reliable person. She said that I would pretty much be able to set my own hours and work as little or as much as I wanted. Okay, doesn't sound too bad. It would be nice to have some extra money to do things with the kids this summer.
Now, I am not really sure why I get myself in these situations. First of all, I have trouble saying "no". That is, to anyone and everyone. Also, I guess that I like to spread myself as thin as possible. So, I am suppose to be a stay-at-home mom who works as a PT florist, PT Gap employee, occasional daycare provider, and now home health care aide?!?!
Well, I told her that I would be on board as long as I didn't have to do any wiping or any bathing. I mean, yes, I do this everyday with my own kids but, taking care of an adult in this area was NOT my thing! (I never have had to do this but I am SURE that it would not be my thing!)
So, they set me up with someone who just needs 4 hours of housekeeping a week. Mainly just cleaning and laundry. I go and meet the gentleman that I will be working for. We talk about what he would like for me to do each week. No problems, I can handle this. It might be nice cleaning for someone else. Getting things done from top to bottom without any interruptions. I might really be able to accomplish a lot in 4 hours. We go through his list...he tells me that there are only 2 things that I don't need to bother, the top drawer in his nightstand and a box over in the corner of the bedroom. I say " alright, you don't have to worry about that", he continues..."well, it isn't really illegal", I tell him, "I won't even ask"... he continues, "I just don't want you to bother those two places", again, I tell him, "I won't ask and you don't have to worry about me bothering it". Things went fine. It only took about 2 1/2 hours. When I got home I told Jaime about what he said to me about the off limit spaces. She asked me if I looked! I said, "are you kidding me, I am not looking." I don't want to know what he has hidden. I can take a guess what he has in there and that is as far as it will go.
So, I am stilling cleaning for him, so far so good. Although, I think there would be better money in just cleaning for someone personally, not going through a Home Health Care Service. We will see what happens. I am not sure if I am going to even have time for this. We have 17 weddings booked for this year. Of course the majority of them are in the summer and come July, we have to start planning for our Holiday Home Decorating business. It will be here before I know it!
