Kids say the funniest things. Most of the time I am the trying to tell Tim what the kids have said. Sometimes it is more funny to me (like one of those "you had to be there" moments) than it is to anyone else. I remember one time when Kadyn was just 2 and we were having dinner. We were chit chatting about our day and Kadyn was telling us about the latest episode of Stanley. He was talking about a Koala and I said "Oh, you mean and Koala Bear" and Kadyn said "No, Mom...Koala's aren't bears, they are marsupials. We about fell over. We have a genius on our hands. Who does he get this from.
So on Wednesday night when I got home from work, Tim had a story to share with me. Kamden really isn't into watching much TV (which is great) but, he has starting showing some interest in a couple of shows. He likes the WonderPets and Deigo and Dora. Lately he has been telling us how he doesn't really like Swiper the Fox. We are trying to get him to stay in his bed all night but he is afraid of Swiper. He tells us when he is 3 he will stay in his own bed (Only a couple of more months). Anyway, Tim was have a little talk with him about Swiper and how he shouldn't be scared that he was just pretend and is only on the TV. Kamden told his dad that he knew..."Swiper is a folktale". Now where in the world did get this from. Neither of us have told him that. So, the next day, I asked him about it. He told me the same thing. So, I called Tim to tell him and Kadyn was listening to me. Kadyn said, "Mom, I just had a little talk with Kamden about Swiper and told him not to be scared that Swiper is a folktale." Thanks to Kadyn for handling this situation for us. It seems to be working. He is such a GREAT kid!!!!

Brandi-Lou,
I don't have time to read right now because I should be in the shower getting ready for work. I just got back from Phx last night. Can't wait to catch up on your blog later today.
Hugs!
